IVASS ESG Monitoring
With the Letter dated 27/07/22, IVASS started a data collection aimed at the assessment of catastrophic risks and sustainability.

In Sofia there is a specific module, “Sustainability Solution”, that allows the production of the “Cube 1” of the report and its archiving.

For customers in possession of the “QRT - Solvency II” module, data is retrieved from the stored annual QRT, ensuring consistency with SII values. For the other clients, data is retrieved from the Positions environment.

Average ESG Score Limits monitoring
In addition to the types of limits already available with Sofia's standard tools, the "Sustainability Solution” module allows, by the new special function “Weighted Average”, to perform a check based on the scores “average values”. It is now possible to view the average score value of the selected segment, compare it with a user-defined threshold and identify the positions that contribute most to the value determined by the calculation of the limit.

PROCESS AUTOMATION

Fast Close: Real Time G/L
The new ‘Real-Time G/L’ module is now available to support greater efficiency in accounting processes. Activating the module requires adopting the Book Date and reconfiguring it within the financial closing process. Additionally, developments continue to enhance the tools governing the financial closing process.

CACS Matching
The "CACS Matching" module is enriched with new functionalities allowing for a wider range of events managed by the module.

The new module allows the reconciliation of the events into positions of the portfolio with the relative ones sent by the custodian via SWIFT messages, rectifying directly the transaction amounts of charges and deductions: consequently, the flows will be automatically matched on the next day, and the number of overdue to be managed manually will be reduced.

The "CACS Matching" module adds to the "Asset Matching" and the "Cash Matching" for the automatic reconciliation of flows sent by depositaries.

Changes to the ALM forecast launch interface

The ALM forecast launch interface has been restructured with a view to improving the process of parameterisation of a forecast.

The screen boxes have been reorganised and new ones added to facilitate the display of the parameters in use.
